The family-owned business Isabella Glutenfreie Pâtisserie now operates nine cafés across Germany. Thanks to the online shop developed by rising systems, the products are also available online. In addition to a visually appealing design that matches the products, the project focused on high usability for employees and an excellent customer experience.
During a workshop, we worked closely with the management team of Isabella Glutenfreie Pâtisserie to develop the concept for a new online shop. Taking a holistic view of the business, it quickly became clear that the ambitious goals of the owner-managed family company could not be achieved with a standard e-commerce solution.

We took the opportunity to streamline and meaningfully consolidate product categories. In line with the brand—whose café is located on Düsseldorf’s Königsallee—we created a visually inviting online shop with a consistent visual concept. In keeping with our philosophy, all features were developed in close collaboration with the customer, actively involving the employees who maintain the shop on a daily basis.
Cakes, desserts, breads, and pastries—the online shop offers something for everyone. What customers choose ultimately comes down to personal taste. For us as a software provider, many aspects are also a matter of taste—especially when it comes to design decisions—combined with broad digital expertise. Those who know us also know that we are not satisfied with simply implementing customer requirements “somehow.” We always strive to find the best possible solution.
