Amazing news: rising systems AG has been honored with the German Innovation Award 2026 for its security solution RS Personal Alarm, receiving the distinction of “Winner” in the category “Information Technologies | Functional Software.”
The German Innovation Award recognizes products, technologies, and services that create innovative solutions with real added value for users and industries.
The award ceremony took place during the official gala event in Berlin, bringing together innovative technology and digitalization solutions from a wide range of industries.
This year, special attention was given to solutions that make technically advanced functionality easily accessible while delivering real practical value. This exact approach was at the core of the development of RS Personal Alarm.
Making Digital Safety Simple and Accessible
RS Personal Alarm was developed to protect people faster and more efficiently in critical situations — whether in lone worker environments, industrial facilities, external service operations, or large-scale events.
Using an intuitive mobile app and a simple QR code scan, companies, event organizers, and organizations can quickly integrate individuals into security and emergency processes directly via smartphone — without requiring additional hardware.
The solution includes features such as:
- fast emergency alerting
- precise location tracking
- automated escalation workflows
- digital incident documentation
- integration into existing security and control center systems
- scalable deployment for enterprises, critical infrastructure, and events
Use Cases for RS Personal Alarm
The solution is especially valuable in environments where rapid response times and transparent security processes are essential:
- Industry & Manufacturing
- Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS)
- Facility Management
- Events & Large Venues
- Healthcare
- Public Institutions
- Security Control Centers
One of the key advantages is the ability to extend existing security infrastructures — including systems such as WinGuard — with mobile alerting capabilities and digital workflows.
Making Innovation Visible
According to the German Design Council, the German Innovation Award creates visibility and recognition for forward-thinking innovations that actively shape the future.
The independent jury — consisting of experts from technology, science, digitalization, and business — evaluates projects based on innovation level, user benefit, sustainability, economic relevance, and technical quality.
Receiving the German Innovation Award Winner 2026 confirms rising systems AG’s vision that modern security solutions should be simple, scalable, and easy to integrate digitally.
The company’s goal remains clear: to make security processes faster, more efficient, and more accessible for businesses, event organizers, and organizations of every size.
rising systems AG would like to thank its team, partners, and customers for their trust, valuable feedback, and continued collaboration in the ongoing development of RS Personal Alarm.
