Development of a business model

The customer presented his idea to us in a preliminary discussion and was advised on how to proceed and received a clear recommendation for “lean” working.

In the beginning, we often recommend a business model workshop in such situations, which we then conduct with the customer. A representative of an investor and the two innovators, Gabriele Auer and Wolfgang Spann were also present from the customer side.

Various competencies were represented on our side, including legal, business, psychological, and technological as well as marketing know-how.

As planned, a clear vision was developed in the one-day workshop; the initial business model was created, the assumptions worked out, proto-personas and the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) were defined. In addition, the MVP was directly divided into epics and user stories and the initial backlog was built.

The business model was also positioned and the competition analyzed.

The results of the workshop enabled our customers to speak directly to potential investors and implementation partners afterwards.

Addendum: The customer has received a number of offers for the implementation and opted in the end for rising system. Work on the application started at the end of 2019.

The workshop with rising systems helped me to further develop my idea and build up the whole business model. I went out with a clear vision and a sharpened idea and am well prepared for the next steps.
